Lis Wiehl works as an American journalist and legal analyst who was formerly a Fox News analyst.
She is currently an adjunct professor of law in New York Law School. Prior to that she served as an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She has been a legal analyst on National Public Radio's show and The Radio Factor hosted by Bill O'Reilly. She's been as a guest on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File The Kelly File, featuring Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs along with The Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl she was born and raised in Yakima in Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima from West Valley High School. She graduated from Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree at the age of 33 in. In 1985 she received her Master of Arts degree in Literature from the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she earned an Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl is a former prosecutor for The US Attorney. She also worked as an NPR legal correspondent. She was the assistant chief investigator counsel to Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She served as a professor of law and an appointment at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. From 2001 until 2017 Wiehl worked as a legal analyst for Fox News.
